Our Team

Jon Willis is an economist and long-time resident of Waldo, where he lives with his wife and two daughters. He is a member of Second Presbyterian Church. In 2009, he co-founded the Kansas City Interfaith Youth Alliance with Sheila Sonnenschein and Kay Walkup and continues to serve as Board Member and Chair. In his spare time, he can be found bicycling around KC and out at the K cheering for the Royals.

Clare (no "i") comes to us from Jacksonville, Florida. Clare is a recent graduate of the University of North Florida where she received her bachelors in Health Science with a concentration in Public Health with a double minor in health education and community leadership. While her degree may be in health science, her true passion is in interfaith cooperation, spiritual formation, and youth leadership development. Clare comes from an interfaith family and got involved in Interfaith Youth Core's Better Together network her freshman year in college. She is a flexi-vegan (vegan sometimes vegetarian), loves to: run, travel, and discover local coffee and tea shops. She can be reached at Clare@kciya.org.
